Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. This means:

• Share: You are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

• Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Article Processing Charge (APC) & Waiver Policy

To provide open access, the journal levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of EUR 500 for every article accepted for publication. This fee covers the costs of peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management.

Waiver Policy

We are committed to supporting researchers from low-income environments.

• Automatic Waivers: Authors based in countries categorized by the World Bank as low-income economies are eligible for a 100% waiver.

• Discretionary Waivers: Authors facing financial hardship may apply for a partial or full waiver during the submission process. Waiver requests must be made upfront and will not influence the editorial decision-making process.
